**Circus4Climate: jongeren, circus en klimaat in beweging!**
Wat gebeurt er wanneer jongeren die niet vanzelfsprekend met circus of mondiale thema’s in contact komen, een week lang de ruimte krijgen om te creëren, te experimenteren en hun stem te laten horen?
Gezocht: circus artiesten !
Amoukanama start een nieuw project met jongerenorganisatie KIYO. Om de nieuwe creatie vorm te geven, organiseren we twee onderzoekslabo’s in middelbare scholen. We gaan interactief met jongeren van beroepsmarktfinaliteit aan de slag en zoeken via circus en beweging welke taal we kunnen ontwikkelen. Hoe kunnen we een toekomst vorm geven vanuit een jongerenblik en geïnterpreteerd via acrobatie, circus en muziek ?
Praktisch:
Week 1 : 6 tot en met 10 oktober
Plaats: Antwerpen
Aantal artiesten: 5
Begeleiding van Craig Weston op 8 en 9 oktober
Vergoeding: 200 euro per dag + lunch en transport

Wanted: Circus artists!
Amoukanama is launching a new project with the youth organization KIYO. To develop this new creation, we are organizing two research labs in secondary schools. We will work interactively with young people with vocational goals and explore what language we can develop through circus and movement. How can we shape a future from a young person’s perspective, interpreted through acrobatics, circus, and music?
Practicals:
Week 1: October 6-10
Location: Antwerp
Number of artists: 5
Supervision by Craig Weston on October 8 and 9
Compensation: €200 per day + lunch and transportation

We had a blast last week in Switzerland to attend the première of the film Fantastique made by Marjolijn Prins and produced by Serendipity Productions. The star of the docufilm, Fanta, was able to travel all the way from Guinea to Locarno to attend the première and participate in the Q&A afterwards.
Eind dit jaar namen we deel in het project Circus4Climate samen met KIYO en ECDF. Het werd een week vol emotie, uitwisseling, verrassing en een vooral een avontuur om niet te vergeten die ons alvast inspireert om het project verder te blijven ontwikkelen..

What a beautiful experience we had the opportunity to live last week ! It all started when we contacted Kiyo last year with an idea of an artistic, exchange project concerning climate with young people. A lot of things in one, but with the experience and amazing experience of Kiyo, and especially Mélodie, we were able to realise this last week with young people from Burundi, Belgium and Guinea. The young people from Burunid are guided by Spring Communities, an organisation doing wonderful work with the youth there.

Wat een reis is het geweest om tot dit moment te komen en dit te kunnen schrijven. Van een onbevreeds duiken in het onbekende, tot verbazing, hoop, geluk, kracht, twijfel, vrees, paniek en uiteindelijk de bevalling
