Circus4Climate

What a beautiful experience we had the opportunity to live last week ! It all started when we contacted Kiyo last year with an idea of an artistic, exchange project concerning climate with young people. A lot of things in one, but with the experience and amazing experience of Kiyo, and especially Mélodie, we were able to realise this last week with young people from Burundi, Belgium and Guinea. The young people from Burunid are guided by Spring Communities, an organisation doing wonderful work with the youth there.

We started with a formation weekend immersed into climate issues facilitated by GoodPlanet. They did a very good job to work with us in an active and creative way! Afterwards we started working with the fabulous team of Arno and Kiki from Ell Circo d’Ell Fuego to transform our ideas, movements and voices into a performance. They did this with such care, experience and creativity that we were all feeling encouraged to step out of our comfort zone and share with an audience.

All the participants in this project also brought such talent, enthusiasm and love to this week, that it was truly a transformative experience for all.

We are very thankful to Kiyo to make this happen and to all the amazing people surrounding its realization. Let’s see into what tree this seed is going to blossom..
